Schedules Generated From Templates

When the template is extrapolated onto a schedule, availability is checked for each employee on the schedule, and for any active leave requests that occur within the date range of the schedule. Affected employees are removed from conflicting shifts. The shift activity for the employee’s absence is selected, based on the leave type/shift activity association. When the employee is removed from the shift, it becomes an open shift if the leave was flagged as requiring relief. When the employee is removed from the shift, if relief is not required an open shift is not created.
